Stilbaai
Still Bay offers a long stretch of pristine beach, including Lappiesbaai which is classified as a blue flag beach. This is also where the Goukou river mouth meets the Indian ocean, therefore offering a wide range of both river and ocean water sports. Examples include fishing, skiing, kite surfing, surfing and snorkelling. During the summer season, Still Bay also hosts a touchies tournament as well as part of the Trans Agulhas race.
Still Bay is situated 350km from Cape Town along the N2 and 150km from George Airport. The weather is ideal with a moderate climate and beautiful sunny days. The area receives rain almost equally in all four seasons with peaks in autumn and spring. Temperatures fluctuate between 20°C and 28°C on average in summer and between 12°C and 20°C on average in winter. Rainfall averages 639,2 mm per annum.
