Two of the 3 thatched-roofed chalets are each equipped with two double beds and the other one with 7 beds. The large timber chalet offers 5 beds. All four of these neat and tidy chalets are provided with electricity and running water and the kitchens are equipped with electrical appliances All four of these chalets are air conditioned.
The second timber chalet is equipped with solar and gas facilities and offers 4 beds with two additional beds on the open deck with its panoramic view of the valley. In summer, a portable-pool can be erected on one deck to cool down.
The property is approximately 4 km from the town center and offers many hiking trails, 4x4 routes and picnic facilities. What makes the property more attractive as an investment is the approval of six additional chalets.
Approximately 600 hectares of the property is mainly mountainous areas where indigenous wildlife and kudus roams freely. It also offers the opportunity to develop this section as a game reserve and provide viewing routes to visitors.
The guest farm is widely known and advertised on the Internet and because it is so central to the famous Swartberg Pass as it is as iconic to Prince Albert as the friendly people and starry skies, therefor it makes a very popular overnight accommodation. Water is obtained by a borehole at the foot of the Swartberg Pass and is distributed to various watering points through the campsites and the mountain camp. A second borehole provides water to the trees and grass to keep it lush and green. The property has approximately 4 kilometers on the banks of the famous Dorps River, which flows through the outskirts of Prince Albert.
