WINERY

The wine range derives it name from the Victor Verster Prison situated close by where Nelson Mandela took his first steps to Freedom in 1992. One of the wine ranges was created to allow others to experience memorable moments on the scenic estate.
The grapes are harvested and sent away to a winery to be turned into their unique red wine range.
The wines made are Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinotage which come from the grapes planted on in the sandy soil.
All the wines are matured for 12 to 24 months in oak barrels to reach peak perfection.
This is the third source of income on the farm.

The farm has 3 cottages with one of the cottages used for rental income, one being for the manager and a third for the owner but the farm requires a nice manor house to be built.

WATER

The farm has a great water supply right. There is a pipeline from the Wemmershoek Dam supplying 88,000 cubic meters of clean irrigable water under 5 bar pressure to the farm which is enables irrigation to occur without the need for pumps.

The farm is well located and offers the new owner several opportunities to earn a return of the land excluding and optional additional income of accommodation for guests.
